Michael Malone - Saxophones, EWI, Composer

Michael Malone(Saxophone, EWI, Samples, Composer) has been playing the saxophone for over 20 years. First professional gig at age 15. Has played with Cindy Blackmon(former drummer Lenny Kravitz) Othello Mollineaux(Weather Report) Pianists Billy Childs and Marcus Roberts, and guitarist Mark Whitfield. Toured the world with Jazz organ legend Jimmy Smith for three years. Was a founding member and composer in the Austin, TX based group Blaze for 5 years which toured Asia. Has been a sideman on numerous CD projects. Currently leads Just Released.

Michael Stevens - Bass

Micheal Stevens(Bass) attended the schools of music at The University of Texas- Austin, and Howard University in Washington D.C. Bassist/Composer- Performance, Instruction, Lecturer, Life-long student of music. He has performed and studied with musicians of note in various genres, Geri Allen, Vanessa Rubin, Len "Boogsie" Sharpe, Jeffmajors, Dr. James Polk, Ron Brown and Pam Hart to name a few. Locally he can be seen performing with Ms. Dana Clark, Blaze, The Austin Jazz Workshop and weekly at Sullivan's Steakhouse.

Glenn Rexach - Guitar

Glenn Rexach has played guitar for 32 years and Bass for 24 years. He has played locally with Shawn Colvin, Tony Campise, tenor great Eddie Harris, world-renowned master Simon Shaheen, Dr. James Polk, The Gypsies, La Tribu and many others; in addition, he has toured with Will Taylor and Strings Attached, the Vanguards and Ta Mere. Glenn's recording credits include master drummer Terry Bozzio, Brannen Temple, Centzontle, Sue Young, Terry Bohness, Heather Bennett, and the Austin Jazz workshop. When he is not performing or recording, Glenn teaches at the Austin School of Music.

Kevin Scott - Drums and Vocals

A veteran of the music scene has performed with the likes of Chaka Khan, Sister Sledge and various other national acts is an accomplished producer and singer as well.

William Menefield - Keyboards

William Menefield(Keyboards) graduated from the School of Creative and Performing Arts in 1998. He attended Capital University School of Music on scholarship before transferring to the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2001. He is currently a graduate student at the University of Texas mastering in composition. He has been awarded scholarships from the Otto M. Budig Family Foundation and the Jazz Club of Sarasota. In 2002, William was the Robert S. Duncanson Artist-in-Residence at the Taft Museum of Art. He gained membership in the National Society for Collegiate Scholars in 2003, the same year he was selected as one of WCIN’s “Fifty Most Influential Blacks in Cincinnati.” William’s recordings include his debut album, Big Will Leaps In, which was released in 1999 on Cincinnati-based J-Curve Records and reached No. 13 on the national Gavin Jazz Charts. His most recent album, Will’s Revenge, was released in 2003 on 413 Records.
